Description
This one is kinda special.
It was a blade I started some time ago and did not like how it was shaping up, so I shelved it.
Sometimes it’s good to walk away from something that just doesn’t feel right for a bit.
I came back to it with the idea of just working it with no plan as to what it should end up looking like.
I sorta just freeformed it.
Well… I love it! She has a nice rustic beauty, is one of a kind and I am pretty pleased with how the whole thing came out. It was a joy to work on it again with no constraints and finally finish it.
The overall length is 9.25″ with a 4.75″ 22° cutting edge.
The steel is high carbon 1084 steel
The Handle is stabilized reclaimed barn board from a barn built in the early 1800’s
It comes with a custom leather cross draw sheath created by me as well.
